Who is Jason?
Firstly, as a person who doesn't desire attention, writing about how terrific I am or listing my accomplishments while the above photo stares back at me isn't fun. I can think of some other things I'd rather be doing, like giving my cat a bath or using hand sanitizer after a paper cut. It would be easier to just have you check into some of my stats and draw some conclusions. However, since I'm not a professional athlete with my own trading card, I'll give you some background.........
As the oldest of three close boys, I was raised in house full of love, respect, and competition. We competed in everything. From who could climb to the top of our pine tree, to who could outrun the neighbors dog without getting bit, and to who could hit the golf ball over our house with the wiffleball bat (If you saw how small our house was, you'd feel sorry for me...Sorry Dad). Since then, I have competed in some of the highest level of sports and business. More specifically, in the last 15 years I've grown a mortgage business that has settled over $1.5-Billion in self sourced business, while generating closed sales in well over $100M in each of the last 7 years.
Competition is what has me be who I am everyday. I want to win each day and have those around me do the same. It's not even about winning and at the same time it is. It's about pushing myself through "it" and exploring a new levels of precision and power. For me, it's about finding an edge that can create a ripple of energy that will change how I operate as businessman, husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
My awareness around identifying how to achieve results is what makes the difference. Being a top producer isn't easy AND it also doesn't require some special talent.
